However, it is extremely gratifying and fitting to acknowledge the exceptional work of a select few who are truly deserving of the recognition. Jennifer Deery is a 2004 graduate of Washington Township High School in Sewell, New Jersey. “It is never an easy task for our schools to make these selections, as we are blessed with so many extraordinary teachers. “It is always an exciting time of year when we have the opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional work of our staff with the Teacher of the Year and Educational Services Professionals of the Year awards,” Superintendent of Schools Joe Bollendorf said. Otherwise, if in-person gatherings are permitted, the recognition will take place in the 11/12 auditorium of Washington Township High School to accommodate the honorees and their guests. If pandemic protocols remain in place, the group will be honored through a virtual celebration.
